On the afternoon of December 5, a delegation led by Michael Clauss, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the German Embassy in China, visited Sinotruk. Executive Director Wang Shanpo and Vice President Franz Neundlinger of Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Limited showed the delegation around the showroom of Sinotruk Jinan Power Division, the MAN engine production line and held a meeting with the delegation.

Wang and Neundlinger introduced the strategic cooperation project between Sinotruk and MAN. Clauss spoke highly of the appearance, quality and technical performance of Sinotruk's MAN engines and trucks, as well as its means of production and quality control.

Present were the ambassador's wife Daniela Clauss; Martin Thümmel, chief of the Political Section of the German Embassy in China; Frank Rückert, chief of the Economic Section of the German Embassy in China, etc. Li Yongsen, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province (SDFAO) and Zhou Jialun, deputy chief of the Europe and Africa Division of SDFAO accompanied the delegation for the visit and attended the meeting.
